Perimenopause and Menopause Symptoms

No, you're not losing your mind. Things change in perimenopause, which can start in a woman's mid-30's. You may be feeling symptoms of brain fog, fatigue, vaginal dryness, heavy menstrual bleeding, hot flashes...the list goes on.

Every woman's experience is different, and a variety of treatments (hormone therapy, medication, and herbal options) are available. Individualized protocols include recommendations for nutrition, fitness, sleep & stress management, and supplement and/or prescription options as needed.

Medically-Supervised Weight Loss

It's a fact of life that women tend to gain weight with age, especially around the mid-section. This type of fat tends to be the more dangerous visceral fat, which can contribute to other issues like cardiovascular disease and diabetes. 

Most women over 35 years old tell me that they're doing everything they used to do to stay in shape, but it's just not working anymore.

As you age, it's more important than ever to make sure you're eating the right foods and doing the best forms of exercise to keep your bones, heart, and mind healthy and strong for a full and vibrant lifespan. 

Most doctors do not have time to discuss nutrition and exercise, which can feel frustrating when you're handed a vague recommendation to "eat well and exercise more".
